Thing is the hosts of heaven hanging in the sky, and the other thing is the noble faith deep inside people’s heart. Everyone live a life carrying their own dreams and faith. It is too difficult to imagine what the world is going to be without dreams.
When I was four, my dream was simply a toy dog. When I was ten, I wanted to be a teacher because of those fabulous presents which are received at
Teacher`s Day. And when I turned to be 17, people around me keep asking me “Olivia, what is your dream” and I don’t know how to answer it because this is also the question I keep asking myself. I even started to be confused about my future until I was told a beautiful legend.
There was a girl who was born in a poor family; she was deserted at her twelve and she spent her tragic way pursuing her dream, she went through a lot of difficulties but she didn’t abandon herself. Her courage made her fearless to challenge tradition and conservative thoughts. And finally she became the pioneer in the world of fashion. Well, I’m sure you know her; she is Coco Chanel, the beautiful legend in the world of fashion.
For me, my dream is to be a person like her, who is always optimistic and persistent when facing difficulties. In order to achieve this dream, I will spend time reading to broaden my horizon and participate in all kinds of activities to enhance my all-round ability. I am neither a greatest talker nor least doer, but I will do as much as I can to make my dream come true. Dreams are like stars in the sky lighting up our life; Zhouenlai had a dream that he studied for the was going to change the world. They all achieve their dreams, and now it is my turn to make my dream come true.
At the end of my speech, I’d like to share a short poem with you, Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
Martin Luther King had a dream that one day black men could be equally treated because all men were created equal. Today, I have a dream, a Chinese dream that everyone could have a house.
Have you ever seen a movie called Finding Mr. RightThe Chinese version is “北京遇上西雅图”. Yeah, you know. The leading female actress really liked the male lead’s home in Seattle. She was surprised to learn how expensive his house was as it only cost 500,000 dollars which is about 4 million Yuan. This amount only allows you to buy 2 toilets on the Second Ring Road of Beijing.
In China, generally speaking, a house will cost 74 years’ income of an average Chinese. However, according to the United Nations, a reasonable price of a house should be an average man’s income of 3-6 years. What a sharp contrast!
I have a 28-year-old cousin who has reached marriage age. He had a girlfriend. So it was time that they had got married. However, his girlfriend asked him to buy a house before marriage. Of course a house became somewhat a luxury for an ordinary worker like him and his father. The result, as you can imagine, is "Gone with his romantic love" because of a house.
It strikes me that in the future I will be worried about affording a house, too. Maybe I will also pinch and scrape my whole life in order to purchase a house. Maybe I will get trapped in a pathetic situation where my love wanders about, like a homeless person, could not find a shelter from the rough rain and wind. How pathetic!
As the proverb goes, an Englishman's house is his castle. So, I have a dream, a Chinese dream that one day every Chinese is able to have his own castle.

In 2013,our new leader, chairman Xi brought us a surprise that is Chinese dream. In the river of history, china suffered a lot, changed a lot, and learned a lot. In the past, we fell down from the top and now we are climbing back to achieve the rejuvenation of Chinese nation, that is Chinese ese dream is everyone's a saying that goes,"where there is dream,there is future."However,as contemporary college students,what is our Chinese dreamCan we dare to dreamThe answer is have no dare not dream,we not only need to bravely dream,but also hard to dream!
As we all know,the highest honor of the language field is becoming asimultaneous y year more or less people has achieved this dream. Whenever I see the time that they translate for those famous people in the importantcircumstances , I couldn't help of imaging myself standing on the stage like them in future, that could be how glorious. This is my dream, my dream of simultaneous interpretation .
And I, a new times of college students, I am proud of my dream, proud of our motherland. When the dream into reality, in a times which let the youth realizing their ideal, I believe my dream will be realizing in the near future!
